چکیده

Abstract Thrombosis is the leading cause of illness and mortality worldwide, posing a serious risk to human health life. Because antithrombotic drugs can prevent beginning progression thrombotic disorders, they are essential in management diseases. The substantial side effects unsatisfactory efficacy present stimulate search for novel, effective, safer therapies. Natural synthetic coumarins have been shown action, specifically anticoagulation, antiplatelet aggregation. In particular, coumarin-based medications like warfarin, phenprocoumon, cloricromen long used treat thrombosis clinical settings. favored structure creating novel with diverse modes action coumarin, which has low toxicity. goal current review consolidate recent findings on development as agents, focus connection between these compounds’ chemical compositions therapeutic potency. It aims offer promising suggestions identification new coumarin compounds potent properties.

Oral anticoagulation with coumarin derivatives and antiplatelet effects of clopidogrel.

AIMS A relevant proportion of patients receiving aspirin and clopidogrel after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) also require oral anticoagulation with a coumarin derivative such as phenprocoumon. Both clopidogrel and phenprocoumon are metabolized by the hepatic cytochrome P450 system and a drug-drug interaction may exist at this level. The aim of this study was to investigate the impact...

Synthesis and Antiplatelet Aggregation Activity Evaluation of some 2-Aminopyrimidine and 2-Substituted-4,6-diaminopyrimidine Derivatives

A series of novel 2-aminopyrimidine and 2-Substituted-4,6-diaminopyrimidine derivatives have been synthesized and their anti platelet aggregation activities were assessed against ADP and arachidonic acid- induced platelet aggregation in human plasma using light transmission aggregometry. None of the compounds showed satisfactory activity against the aggregation induced by ADP. However, satisfac...

Electrochemical Synthesis of Novel 1,3-Indandione Derivatives and Evaluation of Their Antiplatelet Aggregation Activities

Electrochemical oxidation of some selected catechol derivatives, using cyclic voltammetry, in the presence of different 2-aryl-1,3-indandiones as nucleophiles, resulted in electrochemical synthesis of new 1,3- indandione derivatives in an undivided cell in good yield and purity. A Michael addition mechanism was proposed for the formation of the analogs based on the reaction conditions which wer...
